Periodontal surgery

These procedures aim to correct gum irregularities to improve the appearance of the gums and protect the teeth.

Types of treatment:

  • Gum graft: Removal of tissue to cover exposed roots in cases of gum recession.
  • Gingivectomy: Correction of the level and shape of the gums to harmonize their contour around the teeth.
  • Clinical crown lengthening: Reduction of a gummy smile (significant appearance of gums when smiling) and removal of excess gum tissue to balance the tooth-gum ratio.
