Braces
Braces
One of the goals of orthodontic treatment is to correct misaligned teeth and align them to improve their appearance and function.
Conventional fixed orthodontic appliances, commonly known as “braces,” are small metal or ceramic brackets bonded to the front of the teeth and connected by a metal wire made of different alloys depending on the corrections to be made. These appliances apply gentle but constant pressure to move the teeth into their optimal position. Regular adjustments are necessary to ensure and verify the progress of the corrections and to maintain appropriate forces.
